I live and breathe football
I have worked in the global football industry for 20 years. It’s a sport in which I've experienced my strongest connections and found my most passionate sense of community. I believe in the sport´s potential for good; for physical and emotional wellbeing, for equality and inclusion, for holistic talent development. It´s something I´ve worked to further, whether as a player, coach educator, project manager, consultant, or director in 30+ countries.
My professional journey
In 2004, I started my international journey in football and “football for good” in Ghana with the Right to Dream Academy.
I lived in South Africa between 2008 – 2014 and worked on the 2010 FIFA Men’s World Cup. Ever since, I have been based in Europe working on all things strategy, business development, partnerships, and programs.
I’m grateful to call Barcelona home. Between 2018 - 2022 I worked at FC Barcelona, leading international relations and programs and promoting the Barça values and methodologies worldwide (bringing to life the #MesQueUnClub motto!)
I left Barça to build Ready Sport Global (“READY”), a tech and innovation consulting company that designs and delivers strategies, solutions, and programs that build a more inclusive, tech-enabled future of sport. Our clients include athletes, sports organizations, universities, and companies that are excited to embrace innovation and technologies to make greater impact with their communities, fans, and consumers.
At the heart of READY’s mission is a commitment to using digital technologies, artificial intelligence, and blockchain to drive social impact and advance women’s sport.
Fun fact: we launched READY on 23 June 2022, also Olympic Day and the anniversary of Title IX!
And proud moment: I was the recipient of the Everything in Sport prize for Contributions to Education in Women’s Sport in 2023 for READY’s learning hub focusing on emerging technologies and women’s sport!
