I live and breathe football. (The good kind.)

I have worked in football for 18 years. It’s a sport in which I've experienced my strongest connections and found my most passionate sense of community. I believe in the sport´s potential for good; for physical and emotional wellbeing, for equality and inclusion, for holistic talent development. It´s something I´ve worked to further, whether as a player, volunteer, coach educator, project manager, researcher, consultant, founder, or mentor.

My professional journey

In 2004, I started my international journey in football and “football for good” in Ghana with the Right to Dream Academy. I then lived in South Africa between 2008 – 2014, during which time I worked on the men´s 2010 FIFA World Cup social legacy. Ever since, I have been based in Europe (UK, Denmark, now Spain) working on all things strategy, business development, partnerships, and programmes.

Barcelona is home and will be for the foreseeable future. Between 2018 - 2022 I worked at FC Barcelona Foundation, managing sport, health and education programmes and partnerships worldwide (bringing to life the #MesQueUnClub motto!)

I left Barça to build Ready Sport Global (“READY”), a tech and innovation company that collaborates with athletes, sports organisations, tech companies, and brands to create strategies, share experiences, and host events that drive business and community impact.

At the heart of READY’s mission is education, as experienced facilitators of curated learning experiences at the intersection of sport, tech, and social impact. This includes running the world-leading "Web 3.0 and Women’s Sport Hub" that explores emerging technologies (Web 3.0, AI), with a specific focus on women's sport.

Fun fact: we launched READY on 23 June 2022, also Olympic Day and the anniversary of Title IX!

And proud moment: I was the recipient of the Everything in Sport prize for Contributions to Education in Women’s Sport in 2023!

My consulting services

I offer consulting services on sport and social impact strategy, project design and development, and leadership development. Over the past year I have collaborated with leading organisations such as Beyond Sport, Women Win, and ChildFund Rugby.

P.S. Away from all things football, I enjoy learning Catalan, drinking Yorkshire tea, running trails in Collserola national park above Barcelona, learning about web 3.0 + regen, and plotting adventurous holidays with my folks and friends.
