Yesterday as part of the Expert Q&A series in the Chiliz Includ3d Accelerator, I spoke to Shannon Lanigan, Co-Founder of All In For Sport DAO. ⤵️

With a rich and diverse professional background spanning sports science and kinesiology, design and architecture, and serving as a DAO steward for Krause House DAO, Shannon is now on a mission to solve the systemic funding gap in grassroots sport, where community-led initiatives struggle to access capital due to bureaucratic hurdles and restrictive grant processes.

A decentralized ecosystem that seeks to democratize capital access for community sport using blockchain-based funding mechanisms.

Starting in 2022, they kept building throughout the crypto bear market… And, today, their unwavering determination is now having a big impact on community sport innovators and projects. ⚡️

They’re using blockchain technology and DAO infrastructure to explore:

1️⃣ Direct funding for small community sport projects without complex grant applications, bureaucracy, or long approval processes.

2️⃣ Using Smart contracts to release funding when specific conditions are met for greater efficiency and transparency.

3️⃣ Instead of outside organizations and funders deciding what’s best, local sports groups deciding their own funding and priorities.

4️⃣ Small community sports groups starting independently but then scaling their impact by tapping into a larger network of supporters and resources.
